Frequently asked questions
If you can’t find what you’re looking for, email Harris from our support team at harris@withkinesa.com and he will get back to you as soon as possible.
Is Kinesa available in every state?
Because Kinesa does virtual appointments only, we take clients who are located in any state.
How much does a Kinesa appointment cost?
We take most major insurances so Kinesa shouldn’t cost anymore than your typical copay. Schedule a free consultation with us and we can check with your insurance company to see the exact amount you will pay out of pocket per appointment.
I don’t have any equipment at home. Can I still work with Kinesa?
Yes! The majority of our exercises don’t require any equipment at all. In some cases, we may point you towards affordable equipment like an exercise mat, bands, and light dumbbells.
What if I don’t have insurance?
We offer cash pay for $100 per session. We won’t charge you until after each session.
How many appointments should I do with Kinesa?
This all depends on the type of injury you have. Our trained physical therapists will work with you to come up with a customized plan to heal you in as little time as possible.
Does Kinesa give me exercises to do in between my scheduled appointments?
Yes. We have a great app that will include your customized exercises that you can do in between sessions. Most exercises take less than 15 minutes to complete each day.
Can I see the same Kinesa physical therapist for every session?
Yes! Our goal is always to have you work with the same PT each session so you can build a rapport. We understand that continuous care is important in achieving your rehabilitation goals. However, in rare circumstances, some sessions may be altered due to scheduling conflicts.
I thought I needed to go to a clinic to see a physical therapist. Will Kinesa work for me?
We have found that virtual physical therapy works for over 75% of patients. Please schedule a free consultation to see if virtual physical therapy can work for you.
